Baptist Church of the North in Mauritius (BCN) - Some Things we do together

We get together not just for the sake of having meetings, but to find out more about, grow deeper in and seek to serve Jesus Christ. Some of these opportunities (which all take place at the church unless otherwise noted) are:

Home Groups
Small, informal community groups which meet each week to bear one another's burdens, pray and edify each other in serving God
Tuesdays at 8 p.m. in Pointe aux Canonniers
Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in Grand Baie
Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. in Calodyne
If you would like to visit a homegroup feel free to contact us for directions.

Tuesday night service at 7 p.m.
Kids' club on Saturdays at 1 p.m.

Women's Ministry
We have two Bible studies and an additional prayer time for women.

Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
Thursday morning prayer time at 10:30

Men's Ministry
Men meet together on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. They also work together in various service projects for the community and get together for
retreats and mutual encouragement.

Children's Ministry
We believe that children are the future of our church and want to train them up to not depart from the way of the Lord. We have Sunday School classes for children aged 3-12 during the main Sunday service.

A group of ladies from BCN has started a KIDS' CLUB since the 13th of May 09. Sessions will be held every Wednesday afternoon from 3:30 – 5:00 at the Lighthouse Primary School in Trou aux Biches. All children between the ages of 3 and 7 (or thereabouts) are invited to attend, and must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Sessions involve free play, crafts and end with a short song and a story. Sessions will be planned and run by a teacher and a qualified occupational therapist. Light refreshments will be provided.
For further details please contact us using our contact formular.

Prayer
Prayer is the critical fuel of the church and besides praying in our various other activities, we also get together to pray on the first
Friday of every month at 8 p.m.
